Project CITEAIR II

http://www.citeair.eu/  - Project CITEAIR II is the continuation of the project CITEAIR (Common Information to European Air) begun in 2004, which is the common information about the air quality in the European cities. Project is co–financed by the European Union’s  INTERREG IV C. As a result of good co-operation with a leader (AIRPARIF), from 1.01.2010 ARMAAG Foundation became an official partner and takes part in creating and realising project’s tasks. As a part of this project  a website http://www.airqualitynow.eu  was created and it is a perfect platform to compare near-real time air quality for about 50 cities of Europe. The comparison is made on the basis of air quality index counted by the common algorithm, the so-called Common Air Quality Index (CAQI). On the website there is also information  about the cities taking part in the project, definitions of main pollutants and concentration forecast for dust PM10, ozone and NO2.

Project AIRPOMERANIA

From 1st January The ARMAAG have just started  proejct callled AIRPOMERANIA in which Air Quality Management  System in the Pomeranian region will be created.
The project will last till September 2012 and is financed through structural funds by way of the Regional Operational Programme 2007-2013.  The  link to the website of  project is below: http://airpomerania.pl/ .

Project Citeair

http://citeair.rec.org - Project CITEAIR (Common Information to European Air) is a project co-funded by the European Union’s INTERREG IIIC Programme. The project started in March 2004. In this project participate over a dozen European cities. CITEAIR has developed the first Common Air Quality Index (CAQI) on the European level. This index is practically implemented on a Common Operational Webpage (COW) http://www.airqualitynow.eu. This interactive web service provides an attractive platform to compare near-real time air quality in different cities in an easy understandable way, moreover we can find out more about cities participating in this project.

Project Ozoneweb

http://www.eea.europa.eu/maps/ozone/map - Project Ozoneweb - The purpose of Ozoneweb is to inform about ground level ozone in Europe for current and recent situations on an hourly basis as well as to provide background information on specific pollutants. The project is part of the EEA strategy 2004 – 2008, which identifies that EEA will make available “… an extensive geographic Internet portal to regional and selected localized information.” The project has the support of DG Environment of the Commission as well as the support of over 18 countries most of whom are already contributing with near-real time ozone data.
